Pastor Maggie T Brown

Born on December 11, 1966, in Laurens, South Carolina to the late Rev. Odessa and Willie Roy Tucker, Pastor Maggie Brown has lived a life rooted in faith, purpose, and resilience. Raised and educated in Brooklyn, NY, she attended Public School 73 and Junior High School 57 before graduating from Martin Luther King Jr. High School in June 1986.

Driven by a passion for learning and service, she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from The College of New Rochelle in May 2004. Her academic journey continued at Queen’s College, where she obtained her Master’s degree in Urban Affairs in 2012. Never one to rest on her laurels, Pastor Brown went on to achieve a second Master's degree in School Counseling and Mental Health Counseling from Alfred University.

Her divine calling to ministry began in 1998 when she studied the Gospel at Community Bible Institute. Under the mentorship of Dr. Overseer Vernice Robinson, she became a member of Parson’s Temple Fellowship Church and was ordained to preach the Gospel in 2000. She went on to serve as President of the Missionary Board and later joined Calvary UFW Baptist Church, where she led the Children’s Ministry, Singles Ministry, and spearheaded community outreach through the Annual Outreach Street Festival.

Pastor Brown’s ministry journey led her to New Vision of Hope Ministries in 2016, where she was ordained an Elder under Apostle Scotto and the late Apostle Cassandra Cameron-White. Her leadership continued as she served as Preacher, Teacher, and President of the Building Fund Committee.

She is currently an active member of The Glorious Life Worth Living Church, Where Bishop Chuan  and Pastor Ricks are the Senior  Pastors.

 In addition to her pastoral work, Pastor Brown is the founder of B.O.W. Ministries (Building Our Women Ministries Inc.), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to empowering women,Daughters of Destiny, The Gathering of the Esther’s II Wife group  and Redeveloping Me Counseling LLC. She is also the inspiring author of Broken but Whole along with her 30 day Devotional Journal Book.

On April 12, 2025, Pastor Maggie Brown entered a beautiful new chapter in life as she joyfully wed the love of her life, David A. Brown Sr. Their union marks a new season of love and shared purpose, grounded in their faith and dedication to one another.

Pastor Maggie is the devoted mother of six wonderful children—Durrell, Michael, and Brittany,Meka Brown, David Brown jr, Je’Nae Henderson—and a proud grandmother of 19 nurturing both her family and her community with grace and love.

Pastor Maggie  along with her husband Apostle David A Brown Sr. are both the senior pastors of Rivers of Living Water Ministries.
